Moral Values that I Got from the Short Story "Sinigang"

Confessing that we have mistaken, confessing that we have sinned, is a sign of humbleness and being willing to change what have you done before. The resolution in this story was where Liza's father said "I'm sorry". It's like the Lord and the people. We have done wrong, we have made mistakes, but what He wants is to acknowledge that we have sinned against Him, confess it to Him and repent. We are now forgiven, but let us show that we are deserving for the forgiveness that He gave. We must look at it as a privilege or as an opportunity that we shouldn't waste. When Liza releases forgiveness, she also gave peace to herself. Releasing forgiveness may be hard, but it will be a heavy burden if you won't release it.
